  • It is a mix of British hardwoods – English Oak, Ash, Beech and Birch. Some sycamore may be present.

We also offer other products for customers who want softwood logs. Please see our online store for the full range of available products.

  • Yes, all our firewood is produced from FSC certified woodlands.

  • Our premium seasoned range is part of the Woodsure “Ready to Burn” Scheme which means they must be below 20% moisture content on average before they can be sold to our customers. This is so that we are complying with the new firewood laws.

  • You can order via our online shop, where you can select your preferred date of delivery.

Alternatively you can call our office on 01983 555 068 and we will be happy to assist – We also can take orders in store if that is most convenient for you.

  • Where possible we will always try and deliver on the best day for you, however, as demand levels increase over winter, longer lead times are inevitable. For any unforeseen delays affecting your order we will always contact you directly if rescheduling is required.

  • Our online shop accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Paypal. If you are unable to pay online or do cash on delivery, you can call the office on 01983 555 068 and pay over the phone with a card.

  • Our standard size is 8”-9”, however we can cater to a smaller size of 4”-7” which can be selected when ordering online or via telephone. Any other sizes we would recommend giving the office a call on 01983 555 068.

  • Upon placing an order, we see if we can accommodate your preferred date of delivery.

Once a suitable date has been arranged, we then send out our transit tipper truck filled with loose logs (or nets). The loose logs are then tipped somewhere suitably accessible for the vehicle on your premises (typically a driveway). The nets can be placed in your garage or shed for your convenience.

Loose loads cannot be tipped anywhere which would cause obstruction of public walkways or roads.

The driver will have the ultimate discretion as we would not want to damage the area or our vehicle.

  • Customers who do not have a suitable space for a loose load can order nets from us or arrange a stacking service.

  • If you have ordered a loose load above 8”, we can stack for you for an additional £25 per half crate fee. We do not stack 4”-7” logs – but you can get them delivered in nets if you are unable to take a loose load of 4”-7” logs.

  • Yes we offer a net or loose collection service. Nets can be collected anytime between 8am-5pm midweek, and 8am-1pm on Saturdays. Loose logs can be collected during the same hours but a phone call at least 30 minutes beforehand is necessary to allow us to get everything set up to save you waiting around. Sometimes you can collect firewood in a bulk bag – but that depends on if we have any bulk bags available for you to takeaway.

  • As you can imagine it is quite tricky to pinpoint time of the deliveries when traffic, road works and other unforeseen issues are inevitable. Which is why we try and do all deliveries between 8am-5pm midweek.

For some customers who need a more accurate time, we can give an approximate estimate whether it will be AM or PM closer to the delivery date.

For specific requirements we can sometimes accommodate for a “first drop” basis but this will need to be discussed with our office team on 01983 555 068

  • We can accommodate some Saturday deliveries between 8am – 1pm but these will need to be prebooked via the office on 01983 555 068

  • At certain times, demand is very high, and we can only fit a certain amount of stacking services in any given week.

  • This all depends on how efficient your wood burning stove is, and how often you light the fire. Some customers need 1 crate per winter, whilst others will need multiple.

We find that once customers have had their first delivery, it gives them a better idea of what they use and how much they will need to order next time.

  • We are here all year round for orders and delivery, but we would recommend getting stocked up sooner rather than later as sometimes an increase in demand in winter will inevitably increase our lead times. To avoid any disappointment, we would always recommend scheduling a delivery before you run out of logs, so that if we do have an extended lead time you have enough firewood to see you through until your next delivery.
